Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating a STRIX account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. STRIX is operated by Strickland Technology ("we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

STRIX provides an AI-powered receptionist that answers phone calls on behalf of your business, qualifies leads, books appointments, and sends you notifications. We assign you a dedicated local phone number and provide a mobile app for managing incoming leads.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to conduct business in the United States. You must provide accurate business information during signup and onboarding.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Pricing and Payment

STRIX Pro: $49/month, includes up to 100 AI-answered calls
Overage: $0.50 per call beyond 100 calls/month
Billing is handled through Stripe on a monthly recurring basis
All prices are in USD and do not include applicable taxes

6. Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@stricklandtechnology.net.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in the app. Upon cancellation:

Your AI receptionist is deactivated immediately
Your STRIX phone number is released after a 30-day grace period
Your lead data is retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted
No partial-month refunds are issued

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use STRIX to:

Engage in illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive business practices
Send unsolicited communications (spam) through our SMS features
Misrepresent the AI receptionist as a human being when legally required to disclose
Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure
Resell the service without written authorization

9. AI Disclaimer

The AI receptionist is designed to be helpful and professional, but it is not a human. It may occasionally misunderstand callers, provide imperfect responses, or fail to capture all details. We continuously improve the AI but do not guarantee perfect accuracy. You should review all leads and appointments for accuracy.

10. Limitation of Liability

STRIX is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed calls, incorrectly booked appointments, lost leads, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
