Last updated: August 26, 2026. This page is the privacy policy for the Communication Tools Gmail and SMS add-on. The general STRIX policy is at /privacy.html.
Strickland Technology operates STRIX and Communication Tools (“we,” “us”). Contact: support@stricklandtechnology.net. Product homepage: https://go.stricklandai.com/communication-tools.
If a tenant owner clicks Authorize Gmail and grants consent, we access only the Google account they pick, using these scopes:
gmail.readonly — list and read messages the agent needs to find or summarize.gmail.compose — create drafts the owner or agent can review.gmail.send — send a message from that mailbox when the agent is asked to send.userinfo.email — show the connected address on the authorize page and in Command Center. We do not request https://mail.google.com/ (full mailbox / IMAP). We do not request Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or Google account profile beyond email.
We use Google user data solely to provide or improve user-facing Communication Tools features the owner asked for: reading, searching, drafting, and sending email for that tenant’s agent. We do not use Gmail data for advertising. We do not sell Gmail data. We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except to operate the feature the owner requested (Google’s Gmail API itself), for security, or to comply with law. We do not use Gmail content to train foundation models. Human access to a mailbox is limited to the owner’s named request, a security incident, or a legal obligation.
This policy is written to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.
OAuth refresh and access tokens are stored encrypted at rest for that tenant only, on our servers in the United States (zeroclaw). We do not put token values in this website, in git, or in agent-core. Transport is HTTPS. Agents call our webhook; they never receive the raw Google refresh token.
If Communication Tools is unlocked, inbound SMS to the tenant’s STRIX number may be stored so the agent can read recent texts. Outbound SMS is sent only from that tenant’s sms_number. We never use the shared Strickland fallback number as From. SMS is processed by Twilio under Twilio’s privacy policy.
We do not attach one tenant’s Gmail to another tenant. James’s mailbox is not used for Raimy or any other tenant.
Gmail tokens stay until the owner disconnects, we revoke the grant, or Google invalidates them. Encrypted tokens and stored SMS for a disconnected or deleted grant are deleted on request. Email send counts are kept for the current UTC month for caps, then aged out with ordinary logs. To delete Google access: email support@stricklandtechnology.net from the connected address, or revoke STRIX in Google Account → Security → Third-party access. We also honor Google’s token revocation.
Communication Tools is a business add-on. It is not directed at children under 13.
Material changes will be posted on this URL with a new “Last updated” date. The URL stays https://go.stricklandai.com/privacy/communication-tools so it can be pasted into the Google Cloud OAuth consent screen.
